John R. McDonough

John McDonough was born in Portland, Maine and admitted to the Florida Bar in 1970 and the United States Court of Military Appeals in 1974. John earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and law degree from the University of Florida's College of Law. He is duly qualified and admitted to practice law in Florida State and Federal Courts. John served in the United States Air Force as a Captain with the Judge Advocate General's Corp (JAG).

John concentrates his practice to all aspects of litigation including Auto Accidents, Commercial, Construction, General Liability, Insurance Defense, Mediation, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Products Liability, Professional Liability, Real Estate, Workers' Compensation (including Appeals, Coverage "B" disputes and other employment related issues) and Wrongful Death.

John is a member of The Florida Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyer's Association, Defense Research Institute (D.R.I.), and the Orange County Bar Association. He is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Court Mediator and has served as a member of the Judicial Nominating Committee for the 18th Judicial Circuit. John is an "AV" rated lawyer with Martindale-Hubbell.
