Andrew Serano was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has lived in Florida for the past 30 years. Andrew earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida with honors in 1993, and graduated from the University of Florida's College of Law in 1997.
Andrew is duly qualified and admitted to practice law in Florida State and Federal Courts. He concentrates his practice in all aspects of workers' compensation law and other employment disputes defending employers, insurance carriers, servicing agents and third party administrators. Andrew has been with the firm since 1999 and has successfully tried workers' compensation claims statewide.
Andrew was successful in helping create favorable law for Employer/Carriers before the 1st District Court of Appeals in the case of Goodwill Industries of Central Florida v. Heard, 863 So.2d 389 (Fla. 1st DCA 2003). He is a proud member of the Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund which awards scholarships to students for those primarily engaged in the administration of Florida Workers' Compensation law as well dependents or descendants of workers who were injured or killed in the course and scope of their employment. Andrew is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar.
